Wheel blast machine with turntable DC-2500

Function

The rotary table blast machine DC2500x1250-2 is a robust machine designed for cleaning and treating metal workpieces by means of throwing jets. This process has the following purposes:

• Removing rust, paint and other impurities.
• Improving surface quality and adhesion for further machining.
• Increasing the wear resistance and structural integrity of the material.

The machine has a 2000 mm diameter rotary table and a maximum load capacity of 5000 kg, making it suitable for heavy and large workpieces.

Operation

The workpiece is placed on the turntable and fed into the blast chamber. Two powerful ‘Eeco’ turbines throw the abrasive onto the surface at high speed, providing effective cleaning. The spent abrasive is collected and transported via an elevator to the cleaner, where dust and impurities are removed. The cleaned abrasive is then reused. An extraction system filters suspended dust particles and ensures a clean working environment. The machine is internally lined with abrasion-resistant material to minimise wear and prolong service life.
